Bill practices in the areas of professional liability litigation, employment practices liability litigation, and commercial litigation with experience that includes commercial and residential foreclosure, legal malpractice, discrimination, product liability, truth-in-lending and complex personal injury defense. Bill also has extensive experience representing national corporations in large consumer class actions, complex contract disputes and in connection with claims under the Uniform Commercial Code.

- Bill has successfully defended employers in lawsuits involving wrongful termination and discrimination claims, including claims based on age, sex, disability, and race and national origin discrimination.
- Bill represented a large national lender in connection with mortgage fraud claims, including negotiation and settlement of underlying title insurance claims.
- Bill presented derivative and personal corporate governance claims against company's officers and directors on behalf of venture fund.
- He defended local and national pharmacies in connection with pharmaceutical product liability and malpractice claims.
- Bill represented national financial institutions in claims brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the Truth-in-Lending Act and Connecticut's Retail Installment Sales Financing Act.
- Bill conducted trials in Connecticut state courts, one of which resulted in a favorable judgment of $4.1 million.
- Bill defended a regional manufacturing company in a licensing contract dispute with a national tool manufacturer.

After law school, Bill began his career with a regional firm handling various insurance defense matters and a number of insurance coverage disputes, including ones involving coverage disputes for environmental claims. Bill spent the next two years of his career focusing on complex litigation, including the defense of consumer class actions pending in a number of different states, including California, Pennsylvania and Vermont.

Bill enjoys SCUBA diving in exotic locations and has thus far enjoyed the underwater wonders of the Caribbean, Asia and Pacific. He is also a musician.
