Edward Kammerer, a partner in our Debt & Finance Capital Markets Practice Group, was a speaker at the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association's Coping with the Cape Town Convention (Closing Air Finance Deals - One Year Later) webinar held on April 10, 2007 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.

At this webinar, a panel of industry experts discussed the implications of the Cape Town Convention, Aircraft Protocol and related rules and regulations (the "CTC") when closing a commercial or business aircraft financing, focusing on how to plan for and effectuate the CTC/IR aspects of the closing.

Ed discussed the experiences of the first year of operation of the International Registry for interests in aircraft and looking forward to the year ahead.
