Antony Woodhouse, a partner in our London office, Jeanne Kohler, a partner in our New York office, and Brian Green, an associate also in our New York office, were speakers at the BRMA 2008 Committee Rendezvous held March 30 - April 1, 2008 at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club in Naples, Florida.
Antony was the speaker for the “All You Need to Know from Across the Atlantic: An Update on the Significant Recent Developments in Insurance Law in the UK” session held on Monday, March 31, 2008. At this session he looked at recent changes from the regulatory or legal systems and the impact of these changes to the industry.
Jeanne & Brian were the speakers for the “Developments in Reinsurance Case Law” session held on Tuesday, April 1, 2008. At this session they discussed recent developments in the reinsurance arena with a focus on recent case law regarding consolidation, follow the fortunes and arbitration-related issues.
The BRMA is a networking forum for treaty property and casualty treaty reinsurance professionals and its membership consists of several of the foremost reinsurance organizations in the United States and Bermuda that continually work to find ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the reinsurance industry.
