Michael Gass, Stanley Keller, Mary-Pat Cormier and Matthew Martel were presenters at "What The Subprime/Credit Crisis Means For Your Company," a webcast presented by the ACC's Corporate & Securities Law Committee, Financial Services Committee and Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge.

The webcast discussed the range of issues arising from the subprime/credit crisis, including the emerging wave of private securities litigation and enforcement actions and lessons to be learned by boards and management and the attorneys advising them.

Specifically, speakers provided a detailed examination of the players involved in these matters, the claims being asserted and potential defenses to these claims, and the roles and responsibilities of boards and management in risk management, disclosure and legal and legal accounting compliance.
