Joshua is an associate in the Boston office.  His practice involves complex civil litigation.  Joshua has particular experience with securities and commercial class actions, consumer class actions, and international commercial disputes.

Notable Experience
  • Joshua represented a U.S. manufacturer in a successful contract and fraud suit against a Swiss company and its U.S. subsidiary.

  • Joshua drafted a successful motion to dismiss all the claims in a suit concerning a partnership formed to acquire positions in a French conglomerate brought against the partnership's general partner, one limited partner, and a British Virgin Islands corporation.

  • Joshua drafted a successful motion to dismiss on behalf of a publicly held corporation in a large class action securities fraud case.

  • Joshua has successfully represented several national finance companies and other entities in connection with class action suits brought under Massachusetts and New Hampshire consumer protection statutes.

  • He has taken part in several NASD arbitrations, helping to secure dismissals both before and at hearings.

While in law school, Joshua was a Managing Editor of the Cornell International Law Journal. Joshua also served as a fellow for Cornell's first-year legal methods program, and as a teaching assistant for an undergraduate law class. During law school, Joshua worked for a local criminal judge and a state assemblyman.

Before law school, Joshua studied political science in Norway on a Fulbright Scholarship.
