Public Finance For over a century, our nationally recognized public finance practice has assisted state and local governments to access capital markets to finance major public projects and programs. Our Public Finance Department also specializes in other sophisticated financial transactions involving public debt for healthcare institutions, schools and colleges, affordable housing, water projects, sports facilities and transportation projects.
Real EstateOur Real Estate Department handles matters ranging from complex real estate financings to development and permitting, and mixed–use development. Our real estate attorneys played a significant role in the largest land purchase in the contiguous US since the Louisiana Purchase, acting as lead counsel for the mortgage financing secured by 2.6 million acres of timberland and timber, with a purchase price of $3.16 billion.
