Steve practices in the areas of venture capital and private equity transactions (representing venture capital funds and emerging growth and start-up companies), mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. Steve has a wide range of experience representing companies of all sizes in a variety of industries based inside and outside the United States.

- Equity financings of regional beer brewing company by angel and venture capital investors.
- Debt financing of US medical diagnostics information provider by Canadian investor.
- Equity issuance by television network to large satellite television distributor in connection with satellite distribution agreement between the parties.
- Equity and convertible debt financings of $47 million in software/telecommunications company with operations in the US and Germany by US, German and Swiss investors.

Prior to law school, Steve was the Assistant to the Undersecretary of Environmental Affairs for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He then worked as the legislative liaison for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
